A quirky, cool, ‘art-hotel’, the Arthotel Blaue Gans is located in a prime position - directly at the top end of the pedestrianised Getreidegasse in the heart of the Old City.

The building that houses the hotel has stood there since time immemorial and recently it has been renovated to its current level of quality.

The interiors are great. Lots of contrasts between old and new - modern paintings hanging on walls next to ancient wooden beams and archways, clean white walls and old polished wooden floorboards. Very contemporary and hip.

There are 36 individually designed rooms and suites to chose from, all carefully furnished.

Relax at the lounge bar or enjoy top food at their restaurant. The locals go here so you know you are onto a good thing.

Particularly special is the ‘Cavern’ - a cellar dining room, which is great for gathering with friends. You can request this when you book.
